German Politician Smokes Pot In Live TV Show

Barack Obama doesn’t really deny he has smoked in his previous life, while Bill Clinton says he ‘didn’t inhale’. But a few days ago Martin Lindner, aGerman politician of the pro-business Free Democrats in parliament, showed the world he at least has some real balls and took a drag of a joint on live television!

Martin Lindner was a guest on "Stuckrad Late Night”, a talk show with Benjamin von Stuckrad Barre's. When the host presented him a joint, Lindner told him he thought it was a fake one after sniffing it a bit. When asked to put his money where his mouth was they went to the balcony together and Lindner lighted up the spliff. He took a drag and concluded with a smile that the joint actually was real.

Although Lindner told a German tabloid magazine afterwards that he didn’t know what it exactly was and that he didn’t feel any intoxicating effect, he is a true hero in our eyes and praised by the German pot smoking society.

In Germany at the moment cannabis is still considered to be illegal although in some parts of the country, including Berlin, possession of small amounts of weed is being tolerated.
