You can find this Flying Pig youth hostel right next to amsterdam Central Station, Red Light district, Amsterdam nightlife and the main shopping centre.

Cultural spots such as Dam square, the Royal Palace and the Anne Frank house are just around the corner. The outdoor market at Waterlooplein (square) is perfect for bargain shopping and the Rembrandtplein is a great spot to discuss your day with a pint in hand.

In the afternoon you can join one of their free walking tours or you can stroll around the Jordaan area. This oldest part of Amsterdam is well known for its tiny houses, canals and cozy restaurants

This one is located in the centre of Amsterdam in the midst of the city nightlife. You are close to all of Amsterdam's with the Vondelpark as your backyard.

Kick off your night in the hostel bar. It is the best place to meet other Backpackers, there are regular theme-parties and they sell cheap beer. Then move to the Leidseplein (square) where you can refuel at one of the many pubs or coffee shops. Bring your evening to a climax in the pop temple the Paradiso or in the famous Melkweg.
