I guess it really sucks if you're a cop and against the War on Drugs. You see the destruction around you and there's nothing you can do about it. Actually, you're even taking part in it. You can't complain to your boss, he will put you on the list of 'the weak and soft on crime'. Chance is big you you will be even terminated as a cop at one point. So what can you do? You can always spill your guts at LEAP. It's anonymously in a blog post this time, but OK. GO LEAP!

Active duty police officer David Bratzer was planning to accept an invitation to speak about drug policy and harm reduction at an official city government-sponsored event...until his police department's leadership stepped in and ordered him not to show up.

I'm not specifically against authority. I'm not specifically against cops. But I am against a system which prohibits my fundamental right to experiment with my own conscious. That's why I'm a big fan of LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). LEAP is made up of current and former members of the law enforcement and criminal justice communities who are speaking out about the failures of drug prohibition. They started in the US in 2002 and these days they have members from 86 countries. And since today I'm probably their biggest fan: I love billboards like these!
